The Desert Eagle is a high-powered weapon encountered later in the game. It has a 7 - round magazine, but the low magazine capacity is easily offset by the massive damage, even out-performing a point blank shotgun blast in terms of damage. Due to this, it is not recommended to use the gun on black order troops, as they are easilly dispatched by more common weapons with more common ammunition, like the assault rifle, instead to save it for emergencies or more powerful enemies like Alpha Werewolves or Minotaurs.
